Dr. William Howe is a board-certified family physician with over four decades of experience caring for patients in Gulf Breeze and beyond. His practice blends deep clinical expertise with a warm, personal approach that puts patients at ease.

Dr. Howe earned his M.D. from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in 1982 and completed both his internship and residency in Family Practice at the Naval Aerospace and Regional Medical Center in Pensacola. He served as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy, where he led surgical support teams and founded a dermatology clinic. His military service shaped his commitment to thorough, compassionate care.

Since 1988, Dr. Howe has practiced in both Pennsylvania and Florida, including long-standing roles at Gulf Breeze Hospital and Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. He has held leadership positions in intensive care, emergency medicine, and medical education, and continues to serve as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner and medical students.

Dr. Howe’s specialties include family medicine with subspecialties in dermatology and allergy. He is known locally as one of the area’s most skilled diagnosticians, often sought out for his ability to solve complex medical puzzles.
